Like Go Karting but...on ice! Using karts fitted with specially designed studded tyres you are able to put your driving skills to the ultimate test in an ice kart.
The Olympic ice-skating rink is the venue for this new and exciting activity that can be enjoyed by all of the family (children must be over 10 years of age and meet the minimum height requirement). You can either pit yourself against your groups and make a competition out of the event, or just take it slowly and each improve your own individual ice karting techniques.
Ice karting is only held once a week, so pre-booking is essential. The organisers warn that you must turn up 10minutes before your alloted time in order to ensure you have time to hear the safety briefing and get the right equipment.
Price: €20 for 10 minutes.
Monday evenings 7.30pm-10pm only.
Minimum height requirement: 1metre 40 centimetres
Equipment is provided (including a hair net, which must be worn for hygiene reasons)
8 people maximum can race on the ice at any time.
Alcohol must not be consumed before Karting.
